Which rack type suits dated juice and fruit inventory?

Pallet flow gives dated stock first-in, first-out rotation. Pushback stores two to six pallets deep per product using last-in, first-out rotation; drive-in fits bulk quantities with few products.

How many pallet positions can our cold room hold?

The count depends on clear height, working aisles and forklift reach. Our free CAD layout compares rack arrangements within the room dimensions before you buy.

How long does new rack take to arrive and install?

Standard teardrop sizes often quick-ship; high-density and non-standard sizes take longer, with lead time confirmed on the quote. Bay count and site readiness determine installation time.

What affects the cost of cold-room rack?

Positions, rack height, beam capacity, decking, freight and installation all contribute. Send pallet size, heaviest load per level, clear height and building size for a free CAD layout and itemized quote.

Warehouse Racking for Paw Paw Coolers

Juice and fruit processing means coolers and, often, freezers. Pallet rack systems for cold rooms get components rated for the temperature: pushback carts, flow rollers and brakes that behave in the cold.

Cold square footage costs money to run, so density matters more than in a dry warehouse.

Winery Case Storage

Wineries around Paw Paw store cased bottles, often in temperature-controlled rooms. Cases stack tall on pallets and stay put for months.

Pallet racks give access to each vintage or label. Where one label runs many pallets deep, pushback adds density without losing too much access.

Barrel storage is a separate question and usually stays on the floor or in dedicated barrel racks, which we can lay out alongside.

Pallet Flow Rack for Case Goods

Bottled and canned juice ships with a date. Pallet flow rack feeds each lane from the rear aisle; the oldest pallet reaches the pick face first, and nobody reshuffles anything.

We set lane depth by counting pallets per SKU made in a typical production run.

Pushback Rack for Seasonal Peaks

Fruit inventory swings with the harvest. Pushback adds positions in the same footprint when a few SKUs balloon in season.

A lane that runs four deep at peak can run one or two deep the rest of the year without trapping pallets.

Roads and Industrial Land

About 45,000 vehicles a day pass through Paw Paw on I-94 (MDOT 2023). US-12 (Red Arrow Hwy) and M-40 also serve the village.

Land south of I-94 and west of County Road 665 is set aside for industrial use. If you are building there, we can lay out pallet racking for cooler and dry storage together.
