Warehouse Racking in Allegan, MI

Allegan is about 30 miles north, roughly 10 miles from US-131 and 22 miles from I-196.

Pharmaceutical and consumer-health logistics sets the tone here. That work needs dense storage with a very high SKU count, all of it easy to find, count and pick.

Highland Industrial Park is a 90-acre state-certified park that has grown to full capacity. It holds a major over-the-counter pharmaceutical logistics center.

Padgham Field airport is nearby, with a 4,300 ft runway.

Pharma reserve storage still needs access to every pallet, so selective pallet rack remains the base. Density comes from narrower aisles and every beam level the building allows.

Clear labels, location numbering and consistent bay sizes make cycle counts faster.

Over-the-counter and consumer-health orders pick by the case or each. Carton flow rack feeds product to the picker and restocks from the back.

In larger buildings, a multi-level pick module stacks carton flow on two or three tiers with walkways, putting thousands of pick faces in a compact footprint.

Over-the-counter pharmaceutical logistics runs on accurate counts. Rack design helps: consistent bay widths, one location per pallet position, and labels readable from the aisle.

We plan location numbering on the drawing so labels arrive with the rack, ready to scan. Pick faces get their own numbering scheme, separate from reserve.

Clean, organized storage is easier to audit, and audit time is time your team is not picking.

Health-product warehouses want tidy aisles and no clutter. Wire decking, flue spacers and end-of-aisle signage are drawn in from the start.

We schedule around winter weather, since US-131 traffic can slow in a storm.
